Sticks and Stones Shells and Bones was open by Caroline Gillam in 2009. Towards the end of 2011 Cassie Thomas and Grant Samperi took over the business.
Cassie is a Marine Biologist with a passion for all things ocean. A surfer, diver, sailor, beachcomber, fossicker, collector of treasures. Grant is an artist, landscape designer, chef with a passion for the natural environment.
With Grant’s artistic eye and Cassie’s knowledge on shells and fossils they have made the business their own.
We are happy to bring you a selection of fossils from around the world dating back to 500 million years. From the worlds oceans we have a huge range of seashells, urchins, sea stars, and sponges. A huge range of crystals, gems, minerals from Tasmania, Australia and worldwide. Locally made timber products using unique Tasmanian timbers. As well as a range of gifts including glowing glass candle holders, sterling silver jewellery, one off locally produced artworks including paintings, electroformed jewellery and paper craft.
